I recycled my 2008 MacBook Pro and turned it into a LinuxBook. Didn’t bother to use dual boot and I wiped out the MacOS and installed OS Ubuntu Budgie Linux. It’s a perfect match. All hardware and interfaces were recognised without additional drivers. It’s lightweight and the UI is beautiful. The Snap Store (i.e. the app store) came with all necessary applications which you can download and installed for free. You won’t be disappointed if you’re a developer looking for some adventures. It’s the beauty of Open Source.
